Sol Duc Hot Springs

Camp! I got too close to the firepit, so it was a cold camp. Better that than a burned tent.

Spring comes slowly in the rainforest.

It may cost a bit, but several hours in those hot spring pool are well worth the price of admission!

These flowers are only where you can smell the sulphur.
Not necessarily warm water.
On the hike to the waterfall.

The camera and sunlight merged. Cool, eh?

Old growth trees are very important.
This was a big one!
Later in the summer the Coho Salmon will be working their way up this stream to spawn.
