Snake River, WA

I think it was dead, but when I saw the rattles I did not hang around to find out.
I jumped back a bit when I went to move the cooler. Just a bull snake. JUST???!!!
It is a jumping, or orchard spider. Yes, it jumps. Fortunately, not on me.

The river made it all worth while. It was hot, but peaceful and calm. I heard so many animals and the train and some barge I am sure that came at night. Among the best part? The camping is free. Thanks Army Corps of Engineers!
