Old Ore Road Big Bend National Park

Nobody told me how difficult this off road would be! I was so scared about four times. This 26 mile trek took me just over four hours, including photo stops, a little exploring, and a slight nervous break down. My baby girl performed famously, though I was a nervous wreck by the end. Thankfully, Jeep and human survived relatively unscathed. Cheers to that!

Here is a smattering of some of the road bed. I did not take any photos of the tough parts, but they tended to be washouts that left huge gaps. Yikes!

There was a grave of a gentleman who was murdered in the 1930’s and later on the remains of a ranch. I cannot even imagine trying to live here then when even now is a challenge.

Let’s not forget nature! This place just amazes me.
